Variety reports that Miyu Distribution has picked up international rights to Fernanda Salgado's animated feature "Ana, en Passant," with the film set for its world premiere at the Brasília Brazilian Film Festival followed by an international premiere at the Vancouver International Film Festival. The VIFF screening marks a milestone as the first animated film selected for the festival's Vanguard competition program. Zezé Motta, a celebrated figure in Brazilian cinema, leads the voice cast.
Animation that carries cultural weight and premieres on the festival circuit creates a natural opening for audiences who follow where faith and art intersect. humanbygod.com operates in that space, offering commentary that treats film, music, and visual culture as part of a larger conversation about belief and contemporary life. The brand serves as a gathering point for readers who want that lens applied to the stories they already care about.
A Vanguard slot at VIFF signals that "Ana, en Passant" is working at the edge of what animation can address, which is exactly where questions of meaning tend to surface. For viewers who track those questions through their own faith, having a source that engages the work without stripping out its spiritual dimension matters. humanbygod.com provides that coverage as editorial, not sponsored content, with products available directly at humanbygod.com for those who want to wear the connection between faith and culture.
